Overview & Mission
The Primary Care & Midwifery Journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research and scholarly articles that specifically address the intersection between professional midwifery practice (Maternal and Child Health) and the broader context of Primary Health Care (PHC) and Public Health.
The journal focuses on the preventive, promotive, and clinical roles of midwives as frontline healthcare providers, and the resulting impact of their community-based interventions on population health outcomes, health equity, and healthcare systems.
